🗞️ New UK Carp Fishery Set to Open — Riverslea Farm Lake, Autumn 2025

A brand-new carp fishery is set to open its doors this autumn — and it’s already making waves in the UK angling community. Riverslea Farm Lake, located on private farmland, officially welcomes anglers from September 2025, bringing with it 5 acres of carefully designed water, high-quality stock, and secure surroundings.

Bookings are now live through Swimbooker, with both small groups and individual anglers welcome.

🧭 About the Venue

Riverslea Farm Lake covers five acres and offers seven swims, including one double swim designed for social fishing, accommodating up to eight anglers at a time.

Swims are positioned along one main bank — giving anglers plenty of space while maintaining a relaxed, community feel. The far bank sits at just over 100 yards, making it ideal for both casting and bait boat users.

Inside the secure otter fencing, anglers have access to power points for charging and a fridge in the old pumphouse near Swim 2 (Paradise) — thoughtful touches that make longer sessions easier.

🐟 Stock and Early Results

The lake has been meticulously stocked over the past three years with 140 carp sourced from some of the UK’s top fisheries — including Mark Simmonds, 5 Star Fisheries (Clumber Park strain), and the renowned Dinton strain.

Test fishing sessions have already produced stunning results, including carp up to 41lb, and several 30s during the lake’s pre-opening trials in September 2025. A healthy number of twenties have also been landed, alongside a handful of originals believed to be even larger.

This carefully blended stock mix promises exciting potential for years to come — a balance of character fish and fresh, fast-growing specimens.

🌿 Lake Design & Features

Riverslea Farm’s layout has been designed to encourage varied, natural angling. The lake features a central plateau, reed-lined bays, and overhanging trees, offering multiple holding areas and features to target.

Each swim provides comfortable access, solid ground, and enough space for modern bivvy setups. The combination of varied depths, natural cover, and secure surroundings makes this new venue ideal for both casual and dedicated carp anglers.

📅 Bookings & Contact

Bookings for the Autumn 2025 season are available now via Swimbooker.

The fishery welcomes small group bookings, weekend trips, and single pegs. Some dates may show as full online, but anglers are encouraged to message directly via WhatsApp or the Riverslea Farm Instagram page to check for availability or cancellations.

💬 Early Buzz

Riverslea Farm Lake is already generating attention among UK carp anglers — not just for its stock and layout, but for its focus on quality and atmosphere. With multiple 30s and a 40 already banked before official opening, it’s one to keep an eye on this season.
